James Q. Butler, Esq.

Attorney James Q. Butler received his law degree from the Ohio State University College of Law in 2000. During law school Mr. Butler was a member of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. Mr. Butler began his legal career with the law firm of Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista in Avon, Ohio. He engaged in the area of general corporate work as well as civil litigation. He later clerked with the Lorain County Prosecutors office under then prosecutor-- Gregory White now U.S. Attorney.

Mr. Butler has also engaged in academia. He has taught at several institutions of higher learning including Indiana Wesleyan University Graduate School of Management where he taught Legal Ethics.

In 2004 he relocated to Washington D.C. where he is admitted to the bar of the District of Columbia. Mr. Butler is licensed in D.C., D.C. Federal, Maryland Federal, and nearly 15 other federal jurisdictions.

Mr. Butler is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and has extensive experience in criminal and civil trials.

Mr. Butler is responsible for all oversight of legal and paralegal staff, including staff attorneys, contract attorneys, and of counsel attorneys.
